| Words can never express how grateful I am to my dear friend Tricia Bentley for sending Kate, Canigou Brigh Tan Beautiful, to Australia and I am so very privileged and fortunate to own her. Kate is a truly wonderful example of our breed with impeccable bloodlines and many UK Show Champions in her breeding. I thank all of the judges, both local and international, who have recognised Kate's qualities. Kate's notable wins include a Best of Breed win under Cocker Spaniel specialist Toni Dennis and Runner Up in Group under Gundog Specialist Pauline Grutzner. Before coming to Australia, Kate was awarded two CC's. Challenge Certificate at Paignton and District Fancier's Association Challenge Certificate at The Cocker Spaniel Club of Scotland. In her critique of Kate, UK judge Jenny Miller wrote: "Beautiful well worked and balanced delightfully feminine head, expressive almond shaped eyes, lovely ears well set on. Super length of clean neck, well laid back shoulders and firm back line. Deep chest and body well ribbed back, short loin, great angulation front and rear, well developed and muscled quarters. Lovely trimming and presentation of her gleaming black and tan jacket." Now an Australian Champion, Kate has already made her mark by producing her equally beautiful daughter, Cali.
